7 conductor 15’ Mogami cable wirh premium 7 pin XLR connectors. This is not the top of the line Mogami 7 conductor cable, but is suitable for most purposes.

No, the MXL V69 is a 7-pin XLR microphone cable. An example of Canare Star Quad standard microphone cable is B&H# CAXMXF15. Star Quad cable is constructed with four internal conductors which are arranged as two pairs in an "X" configuration. This design is very effective in preventing noise. Kopul's Premier Quad Pro 5000 Series XLR M to XLR F Microphone Cable (B&H# KOM5015) uses a similar design. Quad style cable is also available with other types of connectors.

Will this cable work with telefunken CU-29 copperhead model?
I would advise not using an MXL cable on a Telefunken. The Copperhead is a fantastic sounding mic built with NOS tubes. If the wiring of the cable is different you will regret using that cable. My advice is get the cable that was made and wired for that mic. Call Telefunken and have them send you one. Or B&H at 800 606 6969 but wouldnt use any cable that wasnt made by Telefunken for that mic.
