The Sunpak Versipod II is a unique combination of a lightweight, height-adjustable monopod with a fully integrated tripod for cameras, optical devices and almost any other tripod mountable device such as photo lights, microphones, etc. Simply unfasten the Velcro loop at the bottom of the Versipod to extend the three short legs for the tripod mode. With the legs extended, the Versipod is now a stable but lightweight tripod. In addition, the Versipod is a height-adjustable, fully functional monopod.
If you intend to use the tripod with a binocular, you will need a standardized 1/4"-20 binocular tripod adapter.
