Voigtlander LH-4N Overview

The Voigtlander LH-4N Lens Hood is specifically designed for the Color-Skopar Pan 35mm f/2.5-M (PII) lens. Dedicated lens hoods are designed to match the specific focal length of the lens they are designed for.

Lens hoods are primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. In addition, since the end of the lens is extended, you also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact.

Awesome build quality. Feels solid! I swap this between my 35 1.5 Nokton and my 28 Ultron type II. Looks great too!

Yes that one and the LH-12 are both listed in the manual as compatible hoods for that lens.

The oigtlander LH-4N Lens Hood for 35mm PII Lens - Black does not have a thread. It is a dedicated hood and fits via a bayonets connection for the very specific lens the 35mm PII Lens.

Yes, the round Voigtlander LH-4N Lens Hood for 35mm PII Lens - Black, B&H # VOLH4N, as well as the rectangular Voigtlander LH-12 Lens Hood, B&H # VOLH12, would be the two lens hoods compatible for use with the Voigtlander 28mm f/2.0 Ultron Vintage Aspherical VM Lens Type II (Black).

Most filters will not fit on the lens while using the Voigtlander LH-4N Lens Hood for 35mm PII Lens - Black. The 39 mm filter will need to be extremely thin to possibly fit at the same time.
