I keep this on the tripod all the time simply to start from aq level position. It is very helpful for panoramas.

Almost Perfect

The product is awesome! It is very durable and lightweight. The only issue I have involves the locking mechanism. When you tighten the ball down on this leveling base, the bubble moves very slightly. It's not that big of a deal, but it makes the panoramas very slightly off. It's hardly noticeable, but it's my only quirk. Still, I would buy this product again and again. Don't waste any time! Everyone should have this on their tripod

question

Once the camera is leveled, can the camera be panned for the purpose of creating a panorama?
Asked by: Paul
The leveling base is meant to be between tripod legs and a tripod head. The tripod head would allow you to pan once you are level.

Is BH #ACLBS basically the same base as BH #ACLBQR

Is BH #ACLBS basically the same base as BH #ACLBQRC but without the clamp? If so, is the base itself 100% identical?
Asked by: seunghee
The base is the same but, the model with the quick release clamp has a taller ball so the quick release clamp has more room to move without hitting the body.
