This stand is great for its price. I like that they changed the part where the mic clip screws on it doesn't have it as an adapter, which was annoying on the previous version.

Will the Ultimate Support JS-DMS50 Table-Top Mic Stand work well with the Shure SM7B? The SM7B won't make the mic stand tip over, will it?

I don't see a problem as we use this with a short (12 ) boom (with no counterweight) attached and an SM57. I am not familiar with The SM7B but it looks like it is balanced like an EV RE20.
