ART MX622 Reviews

best value for the money

Does what it says it will do. Offers diverse signal input and output options. Note: Phantom power is only 15VDC so it might not power up some of the fancier condenser microphones that require a full 48 volts. Overall, it's a well-built and attractive unit and I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

Maybe I just got a bad one but all the XLR inputs stopped working after only a few minutes of testing. B&H RMA'd it for me and their customer service was excellent.

Its a nice addition to my setup: 2 Cerwin Vega amps, DBX equalizer, crossover, compressor & BBE enhancer. Definitely an upgrade from my Gemini preamp. Only gave 4 stars because its a recent purchase. Too early to tell how great it works.

I've installed this unit in a few places. Never any issues. You can't beat the 6 channels, the treble/bass control, and the fact that it all fits in one rack unit space!!!

Perfect mixer for my smallest sound system in a 8 space rack! Everything is great about this mixer. I have no cons about it and would recommend and purchase it again. Mike

Solid piece of gear

I work as a mobile DJ, so this mixer is terrific. Another reviewer said that this mixer is dead quiet. I hear a slight amount of fuzz, however. I'm still very pleased with my purchase. This thing would be perfect for me if it had vocal reverb for karaoke. Nevertheless, this thing does what it is supposed to do and is well built.

Great unit

I needed a small mixer for a classroom A/V project to bring together a variety of audio sources (wireless mics, RCA audio, etc). This unit was a perfect solution at a good price. Unit installed, and plugged-in in 10 minutes and haven't looked back. Built solid.

Cheap, quiet, unreliable

If you take the top panel off, you can see why it's so cheap, erm, inexpensive. That's not a bad thing. But the bottom panel flexes and has created a short on the underside of the printed circuit board. This causes the output to cut in and out and, of course, causes a terrific amount of noisy bursts. Getting to the underside of the PC board will require destroying the unit so we had to take it out of production.
