The #1 issue w this mouse was the fact the dongle was hidden INSIDE the mouse itself w NO mention whatsoever on the packaging, etc. as to its location! I only found it accidentally while on the phone w Cust Srv asking how to make it work as the dongle I had in my computer didn't seem to acknowledge it! So take off the back cover where the battery is & you'll see it nested in there. Otherwise it's pretty much just another mouse. We'll see whether it mysteriously stops working after the warranty expires as my other 2 Kensington rollarballs did!

I currently use a M310 wireless on my main computer. My older, backup computer needs a new mouse. Can I use 2 different wireless mice on 2 different computers, running at the same time, without causing a problem?

From my experience yes. Each dongle only seems to recognize the mouse that came with it.

In my experience there is no need to turn it off unless there is a chance it will be inadvertently triggered (as when packed for travel or when likely to be stepped-on by an exploring cat).

Can you copy, paste, cut, right click, and left click? I have been using the MX310. Does this have a similar feel?

The M310 is wireless so no cable drag. It performs all normal Windows functions. It is not a gaming mouse like the discontinued MX310. For what I do: some cadd, lots of Photoshop, Office, etc.; it works fine. I like its larger size compared to most other wireless mice these days. I also prefer an upscale gaming mousepad. I hope this helps.
