NEC EX231W Overview

The MultiSync EX231W-BK 23" Widescreen LCD Computer Display from NEC is a LED backlit LCD computer monitor with a 1920 x 1080 native resolution. The monitor can connect to a computer via DVI-I or DisplayPort. Its desktop stand supports height, tilt, pivot, and swivel capabilities. The LCD supports USB 2.0 pass-through, allowing you to connect a single USB 2.0 device to the LCD, which in turn connects to your computer via USB 2.0.

The display features an ECO Mode for reduced energy use, perfect for office environments where electricity costs can quickly accumulate. It features a built-in carbon footprint meter which will help you to track energy costs. It supports 176°/170° viewing angles, a 1000:1 contrast ratio -- with support for 25,000:1 dynamic contrast, a brightness rating of 250cd/m², and a 5ms response time.

LED backlight technology provides for industry-leading low power consumption and less hazardous materials
Minimalist design, featuring an ultra-thin bezel width and depth and lightweight design, puts the focus on the screen versus the cabinet
ECO Mode allows you to manually adjust the display's brightness to two preset settings, including ENERGY STAR, saving more power and reducing your energy costs
Human and ambient light sensors automatically detect your work conditions to determine the proper display brightness, thereby conserving power
