The Super Fly Kit is the top of the line in ikan's Elements series of modular support rigs for DSLR and other small cameras. The anodized aluminum Deluxe Fly Kit features both 1/4"-20 and 3/8" threads and comprises 11 parts: two foam-grip handles, two cheese plates, four movable arms that connect the handle ends to the plates, a rod mount, and two included 15mm support rods, which afford greater control over camera balance and can allow the use of additional accessories.
The accessory kit contains three products that fulfill your lighting and remote-operation needs. The Switronix FLEX DSLR remote optically triggers video recording start and stop for a Canon 5D or 7D from up to 3.28' (1m) away. The remote clamps to a tripod handle or other rod with a diameter of 1.5" (3.8cm) or less. The Switronix TL-50 LED compact light fixture emits the equivalent of a 30W light and is dimmable by dial. This mounts to the camera's hot shoe via the included universal shoe adapter, which attaches to one of the light's top and bottom 1/4"-20 thread mounts.
