Lomography F4120C3 reviews

400 Color Negative Film (120 Roll Film, 3 Pack) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from not bad I have used three rolls of this film with a Holga toy camera shooting outdoors in bright light. I am not sure if this has more to do with the film or with the camera but I found the images to be somewhat inconsistent in color and tones. The film is quite grainy for 400 speed (which is good or bad depending on what you like). Overall the images from the film were certainly not bad or poor quality but I may choose other brands in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Perfect Fit for Teaching Project I bought three packs for a school project I am teaching (trying to get students to slow down and plan/think about what they are commenting on/photographing). The price is perfect for students who have never used film before. While film is never cheap these days, I felt comfortable telling students that they were free to experiment, make mistakes and try again if they felt they could do better. Great product, better teaching tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product I just bought a 120 color film for my Diana F+ and I love it. I went to a couple of stores near my home to compare prices and they were selling one roll for $7 and I got 3 rolls from B&H for about $. I love B&H and the prices are unbeatable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome look. I live in a small town where the places that do photo lab processing don't do anything other than standard color processing. So this film is really nice to get that cool aged look without having to hunt down a film lab or ship it out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh.... This film is less than perfect. Use it on experimental stuff but nothing you are really concerned with. The grain is pretty bad for 400 and it's far from smooth. The color handling in low light is poor as to be expected. The only reason I picked this stuff up is because it was going for $1 a roll where I bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comparable with Portra 400 I bought this film to try it out at a beach photoshoot since per roll it's cheaper than portra 400. I was supremely surprised to find out that several of the lomo 400 photos were indistinguishable from my portra 400 photos. The only major difference is that lomo 400 tends to have a warmer tone in the negative. Even then, it's easy to correct when scanning or in a darkroom.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LoMo Definitely gives you that vintage look some are so desperate to achieve. However, The film did not roll up particularly tightly and the tape is not very secure. Now I'm afraid I have some serious light leaks beyond the cutesy kind that is oh so trendy. I'll probably buy again, but only because I'm using it with a toy camera.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good results with Holgas I bought this for my Holgas. First time using the film. Very happy with colors, saturation, and grain. It has a thicker backing but it went through smoothly enough. I bring a changing bag with me anyway because Holgas don't keep the ft film tight.
