The B+W 62mm MRC 110M Solid Neutral Density 3.0 Filter is an ND filter with a 1,000x filter factor that provides a 10-stop exposure reduction. Its 3.0 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface includes eight layers of anti-reflection coating. This Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC) also offers greater protection to the filter substrate and helps it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters. B+W filters are constructed from Schott glass for increased optical clarity. This filter features an F-Pro brass filter ring for durability as well as jamming prevention.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 stop filter This is a spectacular filter, allowing long exposures even in the brightest sunlight! I have been able to be very creative using this, smoothing out even the roughest of water! I am very, very happy with this filter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Much much better After using a variable ND filter without much success I purchased this 10 Stop ND for my Canon T3i. I take a lot of long exposure photos and this works much much better than the variable ever did. It's 3.0 density covers my entire image not like the variable that sometimes varied from one side of the image to the other.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Take your time when using this filter I used this filter on my last trip to Yosemite and found it enhances the light as well as the dark shadows. Please have patience when using this filter as some exposures that I captured lasted from 45 to 90 seconds. It is well worth having this a part of your photography gear

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fine filter; bit of a cast Quality of construction is right up there. My only gripe, which really is common to most ND filters, is the color cast it creates. I am very proficient in Lightroom, but this color cast is a challenge to remove. Tweaking color temp and tinge and maybe even some color specific adjustments in HSL. Three stars for bottom line average performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality! This neutral density is the best quality image wise and it's physical construction. First rate in every respect. Don't put a cheap filter on your quality lenses. B+W is the best!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job but definitely has a warm cast. Works well for some unique shots. There is a definite and significant color cast from this filter you need to correct with a custom white balance setting before shooting or after in post.
