question

I would like to know if this flash works with Godox X1C and if you can control the power of the flash from the transmitter? I know it doesnt work with Canon 430EX I.
Asked by: Raul H.
Godox does not have a list of flashes that are compatible for use with the Godox X1R-C TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver for Canon, however, the unit should be compatible with original Canon flashes such as the Canon Speedlite 320EX Speedlite Flash. However, as this is a fully automatic flash, I am not sure if you will have manual power control using the Godox X1T-C TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver for Canon. If you wish, you may purchase the units and test them to see if they work for your usage needs. If not, do note they are compatible with the terms & conditions on our 30-Day Return Policy whose link is listed on the bottom of our website.

question

Can this flash be used on the Sony a7II? If so, what wireless trigger is compatible to use as an off camera flash.
Asked by: Anonymous
As a dedicated Canon flash, it will only work with other manufacturer's products in a manual mode, meaning that it will not recognize functions communicated from the camera and could actually damage the camera's digital programming. Not a good idea to use it on the camera, but as a stand alone wireless flash, perhaps a light-activated trigger (lightning activated, for example) might work when the main flash fires. Otherwise, use Sony dedicated flash equipment from Sony or third parties.

question

What equipment do I need to get it working remotely with a Canon 60D? Is that even possible? Thank you!
Asked by: Anonymous
No problems with the 60D. When not mounted the built in flash needs to be up to trigger the flash.

question

I have the Canon Rebel EOS T5. If the speed lite is mounted how can you remotely fire it? Is there a transmitter that comes with the unit? Also, can this be a slave unit position near the camera and fired remotely with the camera?
Asked by: James L.
The flash does not come with a remote. If you have the flash on the camera you need a remote that works with your specific camera model. If you want the flash to work off camera and set off by the camera the camera needs to either have master control, a flash on it that can be a master or a remote transmitter. The manual explains that and some other options starting on page 33, http://bit.ly/1FvD1zU.
