The 50' High Resolution HDMI Cable from KanexPro is for applications that require high-performance transmission of HDMI digital video and multi-channel audio signals. It features active amplification to prevent dielectric losses or impedance mismatches caused by cable attenuation. It is also designed to compensate for skin effect over long distances. Its built-in signal booster takes its power from the display, eliminating the need for external power. This well-made cable is fully CL3 certified, surpassing any in-wall code requirement for residential or commercial installations.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work for ATEM production switch This cable does not work with an ATEM TV Studio Production switch. Tested devices include Canon XA10, HDMI port on Sony Vaio Laptop, DVI to HDMI Adapter on a Quadro K4000 Graphics card. All devices lit the red light on the cable but yielded no results on the ATEM switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pricey but worth it I've had problems with cheap hdmi cables so I've learned my lesson. - Go with a higher end cable and leave the headaches to someone else. If you have a run as long as this cable you'll want this cable. Its thick and has a built-in signal modulator. Because this cable is thick and has a built-in modulator it won't easily go thru a conduit. This cable is plenum rated and that's where it should be installed. And before you start complaining that it doesn't work, make sure you've installed it correctly. - It's directional - The end with the modulator connects to the monitor/tv/projector.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value Great value. These cables are directional, so make sure and look at the ends before using them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from FAILED TO WORK I bought this HDMI cable for a specific job - when am I ever going to need it otherwise? I tested it out at home, it work find, no issues. I get to the shooting location and the cable DOES NOT WORK. I also had a 12 foot cable to trouble shoot with - worked. But the 50 foot cable never worked on set. Avoid this worthless piece of junk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth persevering This cable didn't work when I first used it, and I only tried to output from a Mac to a TV. After some testing and searching, I found out that my MacBookPro's HDMI output would only work with a computer monitor, not a TV. A MiniDisplay Port to HDMI adapter fixed that. So yes, this cable isn't too expensive and it transmits the signal fine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great solution to HDMIs limited distances Even though VGA is outdated, it could still be run +100' then HDMI came in and 33' runs. Now obviously you can push it past 33' but not reliably. And especially with cheap HDMI patch cables on each side with two couplers. This is my go to HDMI for in wall non-plenum environments. A lot cheaper than a GOOD HDMI to Cat 6 active converter. I have used passive HDMI to Cat 6 (dual and single) converters and they are a waist of money in a professional environment. If you want to use it at home, sure. But if it's a client and you use a passive converter, you can kiss that client goodbye. He'll be calling me next, so Thanks. You have to watch out for which side you plug in to the source, but besides that it's great. Fits in an empty 1 conduit. I've never needed to turn the booster past 5. Good robust cable. It's not something you should be plugging directly into a laptop, but since it's active you can reliably add cheap HDMI cables and couplers and still push a signal through at Full HD. I've used the 75' also without problems.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Dissapointed This cable didn't work for me, out of desperation I purchased a different cable for half the price and it worked perfect. When I installed this cable, picture would come and go, when I had a picture it was very distorted. I am trying to get a refund now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well built! This cable is very well built. The connectors feel rugged and very well designed. The built in amplifier is a added bonus for the 50' length. Images look great and the cable performed as expected. I would definitely buy from B&H and KanexPro again.
