  • 1Description

The Magnus PV-3330 Photo Tripod With 3-Way Pan and Tilt Head is a stable photo tripod made from anodized aluminum that can support loads up to 3.3 lb (1.5 kg), and is ideal for mirrorless, 4/3, and small DSLR cameras. The three-way pan and tilt head has a quick-release plate and a bubble level to keep your camera properly aligned to the horizon. The PV-3330 tripod system weighs 2.4 lb (1.1 kg).

The 3-section leg design allows you to adjust the height of the tripod from 23.3" ( 59.2 cm) to 63" (160 cm), with the sliding center column fully extended. A mid-level spreader provides improved stability on uneven terrain. The PV 3330 offers a full 360° pan range.

The included quick-release plate features a standard 1/4"-20 mounting screw. A carry case is included for storage and transport.

3-Way Pan and Tilt Head
The pan and tilt head facilitates smooth camera positioning and precise alignment.
Telescoping Legs with Flip-Locks
The flip-locks quickly secure the telescoping tripod legs, while the center brace adds stability by connecting the legs to make them more rigid.
Rapid Adjustment Center Column
The twist-and-lift rapid center column allows quick and easy camera height adjustment.
Quick-Release Plate with Bubble Level
The quick release plate is the swiftest way to mount and align your camera to the tripod head. A bubble level ensures that your shot is properly aligned.
Sure-Grip Rubber Feet
Rubber feet provide maximum traction on all surfaces.

    Magnus PV-3330 reviews

PV-3330 Photo Tripod With 3-Way Pan and Tilt Head is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bad tripod screw Setting up the tripod was going well until I tried to attach the camera to the mounting plate. The screw wouldn't go into the camera socket because of bad threads on the screw. Customer service sent me to parts, who said I could buy a plate and screw. The B&H solution was for me to pay to repair the defective tripod that was sent to me. That doesn't meet my expectations of B&H customer service. I bought a 1/4-20 round head 1/2 inch screw at the hardware store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy, Cost-Effective Tripod I purchased this tripod to mount my handycam for a web series I am filming. Great tripod for the cost. It's sturdy and has great height. The only issue I could find is that sometimes when you haven't panned/tilted in a while, it sticks so the initial movement is abrupt. But if you know and just move it around a bit before filming, it works just fine. I am also a photographer so it is perfect for still photography!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lightweight but a little flimsy This is definitely not as sturdy as the one I purchased in 2014. They must have remodeled it a bit: added more plastic, reduced the leg spread, and the head tilt doesn't stay as stable. It is a lighter weight and a bit smaller so easier to strap on and carry around, though not by much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not judge for the price, great tripod Great tripod, easy to use, and very lightweight, I recommended for use in Gopro cameras.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good for price for stationary use, it is great for price

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Spend extra $$ You get what you paid for. the screw on the quick release plate doesn't tighten with the camera so I end up putting metal washer between the quick release plate and the bottom of the camera. This is good only for small point-and-shoot cameras without accessories attached and small camcorders without accessories attached.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Buy! I bought this product for myself and have used it in many situations. It is light-weight but sturdy, easy to set up, and folds up quickly to carry in the included zippered bag. A great buy and priced much lower than similar quality tripods.
