Apple Pencil (USB-C)

Compatible with select iPad models that have a USB-C port, the Apple Pencil (USB-C) features precision, low latency, and tilt sensitivity. It pairs and charges using its integrated USB-C port and, once paired, connects via Bluetooth. It also has a flat, magnetic edge that allows it to snap on to the side of your iPad, where it may be stored when not in use. When used with 12.9 or 11" iPad Pro models with the M2 chip, Apple Pencil hover is supported, which lets users sketch and illustrate with even greater precision.

Designed for note taking, sketching, annotating, journaling, and more, the Apple Pencil can be used whenever inspiration strikes. Please note that the USB-C charging port is behind a sliding cap and, to help preserve battery life, it will go into sleep mode when magnetically attached to the side of your iPad.
