Film Simulation in the Forefront
Pairing flagship DNA with unprecedented film simulation access, FUJIFILM introduces the silver X-T50 Mirrorless Camera. With its dedicated film simulation dial, this is an obvious choice for those looking to explore the full potential of FUJIFILM's numerous film replications, which includes the brand's latest REALA ACE. Many of the same features offered by the X100VI are available with the X-T50, including the same 40.2-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor and X-Processor 5 combination. However, this camera provides the added benefit of being able to interchange lenses. With its lightweight and streamlined design, the X-T50 is travel-friendly and delivers impressive photo and video with the full realm of film simulation at your fingertips.
Dedicated Film Simulation Dial
With it being the first X-Series camera to feature a dial dedicated to FUJIFILM's film simulation, the X-T5 is optimized for users who want to quickly adjust the style of their images instead of navigating through menus. While the dial provides access to numerous film style options, there are also custom notches that can be assigned based on your preferences.
X-Series Lens Support, 1.4x & 2x Digital Teleconverter
Aside from having access to all X-series lenses, this camera also features a 1.4x and 2x digital teleconverter for expanding your framing capabilities.
Additional Benefits
  • Native frame.io camera to cloud integration
  • 6.2K/30P, 4K/60P, FHD/240P, 4:2:2 10-bit video

All-Encompassing Range
Well-suited for countless shooting scenarios, the XF 16-50mm f/2.8-4.8 R LM WR Lens from FUJIFILM offers striking image quality and a broad zoom range. A full-frame equivalence of 24-76mm is given, making this lens ideal for general shooters who regularly capture various subjects. A bright maximum f/2.8 aperture allows shooting in dim conditions and also provides flattering bokeh for portraits and detail shots.
Lens Construction
Featuring an internal zooming mechanism, the XF 16-50mm f/2.8-4.8 maintains an overall compact build. When paired with a travel-friendly camera body, such as the X-T50, an optimal setup is created that you can take anywhere without fatigue. The optical design includes three extra-low dispersion and three aspherical elements to reduce aberrations, create sharper images, and allow for a lighter weight. Additionally, this lens is weather resistant, increasing its resilience while out in the field.
Linear Motor AF System
Driving lens focusing is a linear AF motor that ensures rapid and quiet performance with impressive tracking and subject detection, which benefits still shooting and video capturing alike.

FUJIFILM X-T50 Reviews

Has a lot of bells and whistles and great pictures

This camera has a lot of bells and whistles that make the pictures superb and artsy. Love the recipes dial on the left side, it has a very nice viewfinder, and to top it off, 40 megapixels for editing and cropping. Its a darn good looking camera too that has a old school vibe with charcoal top and a built in flash. What I don't like? I came from Sony and the focus is definitely a step behind in focus technology that locks in quickly. Further, the body is not as comfortable as a range finder camera like the X100VI and is somewhat difficult to hold over a long time.

LOVE IT!

I previously had the FUJIFILM X-M5 because I thought it would be a good choice for vlogging and everyday videos. However, after switching to the FUJIFILM X-T50, I can honestly say it feels like a much better fit for me. The camera is very comfortable to use, and I love that it gives me both amazing photo quality and strong video performance. It feels versatile, reliable, and perfect for creating visual content. The image quality is beautiful, and the overall experience feels much more complete compared to what I was using before. For me, the X-T50 is the perfect balance between photography and video, and I’m really happy with the upgrade. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a camera that can handle both high-quality photos and videos beautifully.

THe FUJIFILM X-T50 Mirrorless Camera with Basic Bundle (Black) (B&H# FUXT50BAK) is a camera with a few extras but without a lens. The right filter size would be determined by the lens you choose to add to it.
