So Tiny You Might Not Even Notice It!

You can’t find many wall mounted cabinets that are smaller than this (6U)! But that may be just enough for a few components. However, be sure to check that the needed mounting depth, including connectors, is less than 12.95 inches! This cabinet can also accommodate an optional AR8213 double fan module for positive heat extraction, should you need it. Small, but very well designed and constructed.

Provides ample security from prying hands and mounts easily to any wall via studs. Compact but built strong.

That is correct. The back of the APC NetShelter WX 6U Single-Hinged Wall-Mount Enclosure is open (no back panel) and the enclosure is designed to be mounted flush against a wall. This design allows you to connect any cables routed through the wall to equipment inside the rack.
