There are a lot of reasons to own a pair of RS 120-W headphones. Maybe you like to listen loud and late, or have difficulty hearing what's being said on screen. Regardless of the reason, the RS 120-W comes with a TR 120-W transmitter that sends high-quality sound over Bluetooth to the headphones. You can binge a season of TV with up to 20 hours of battery life and share the experience with others with the purchase of additional headphones.

Clear Low Latency Audio
The transmitter hooks up to your TV via the included stereo RCA cable, or with the included 3.5mm to RCA adapter. The audio is then sent via Bluetooth LE to the headphones using the LC3 codec. This combination provides clear, low latency audio from the TV to the 30mm dynamic drivers on the headphones.
3 Sound Modes
Choose the sound mode that best fits the content you're listening to. You can choose from three modes: Speech, Music, and Neutral.
Long Distance Listening
The dedicated transmitter is capable of an impressive 196.9' wireless range, which is ideal for listening away from the couch. You can clean the house listening to music or the news, or whip up a snack in the kitchen during commercials without worrying you'll miss anything.
Comfortable for Long Listening
Sennheiser engineered the RS 120-W headphones to be comfortable, even during long gaming and movie nights. They are lightweight with a low-pressure headband and soft, on-ear earpads.

I Love These Headphones But Loved The Old Ones Better!

The New Headphones Have The Same Superb Sound And Convenience, But Vs My Old Pair (R Speaker Stopped Working). There Are Several Negatives: 1) The Range Advertised That Was True For The Old Pair Is Not The 100', But Only About 30'; 2) When Initially Picked Up The Old Version Was Instantly Live...these Sound A Ring After Several Seconds, Then Another Sound After A Further Delay; 3) The Light That Indicated The Y Were Charging Went On Instantly And Stayed On With The Oldies, But May Or May Not Come On Instantly With The New Ones And If Well Charged, Goes Off In A Fraction Of A Second...so You Do Not Know If They Are Charging. Thus, If You Bump Them And They Lose Contact, The May Not Work When You Pick Them Up.

Good Product Let Down by a Terrible Instruction Sheet

A terrible instruction sheet written in multiple languages is STILL a terrible instruction sheet. Before I made the purchase I read the reviews and it's now obvious to me that the negative reviews were often the result of poor, or non-existent instructions or explanations. In this current global economy we're somehow expected to accept poor English and terrible manuals but I simply am baffled how Sennheiser could make such a good product and then include such a terrible instruction sheet. Shame on them. I figured out what needed to be figured out...but not because of them or their instructions.

No because the original RS-120 system uses 926 - 928 MHz and the RS-120W uses 2.4 GHz range these are not compatible.

Yes, the signal will travel through walls but not very far. The ideal usage is line of sight.
