Designed for hands-free holding of reflector boards, foam core, or flat surfaces up to 4" thick, the Plate Clamp Duckbill Style from Impact, sometimes called a platypus clamp, has a 7" vise-type jaw with a release lever in the handle that unlocks the clamp with a simple press. The clamp has a welded 5/8" "Baby" pin that gives it wide compatibility with grip gear and accessories with an industry-standard 5/8" receiver.
Clamping Options
With a 7" duckbill jaw, the clamp can support reflector boards, foam core, flags, and bounce cards, or be clamped onto surfaces up to 4" thick.
Locking Grip
The clamp has a release lever in the handle that unlocks it with a simple press.
Welded Baby Pin
The 5/8" "Baby" pin gives the clamp wide compatibility with gear such as grip heads or light stands with an industry-standard 5/8" receiver.
