I did a comparison shooting (real estate shots) with the AD 200 Pro round head and comparing it with the bare bulb with this diffuser on. It definitely softened the shadows in the room without adding any tint to the photo or any noticeable drop in exposure. Well worth the few dollars

I bought the AD200 for real estate photography and don't have a budget for any fancy light modifiers. This item cost me way less at B&H than it would have anywhere else, and it's well worth every penny. It does a fantastic job of evenly spreading the light and cutting down shadow and it fits quickly and easily to the AD200. The construction is solid, it feels like a decent piece of equipment and works extremely well. Note that it is made from rigid plastic so doesn't fold or crush down at all... but it does still fit in the front pocket of my large photography equipment bag.

Godox does not make a case for the Godox AD-S17 Wide Angle Soft Focus Shade Diffuser for AD180, AD360 Speedlights & AD200 Pocket Flash BH #GOADS17 but you could use a BH #PEIM2075NFB.
