Capture stunning close-ups of your scenes at closer shooting distances with the new Macro Lens from DJI. The macro lens replaces your original Action 6 lens and allows you to get extremely close to your subject with its 4.3 to 29.5" close focus. You can utilize the Focus Peaking feature in the DJI Mimo app to keep your subjects sharp, while the background blurs for a dramatic, shallow depth of field.

NOTE: The macro lens is splash resistant but not waterproof, so it is not supported for underwater use. Subject Tracking is not available when the macro lens is attached.

Shipping was fast and product came well protected in packaging (love B&H). The actual lens is great, easy to put on and to use. Just need to understand at which distance it works but loving the fact that I can have “bokeh” on the Action 6. Expensive but well worth it!

This little guy is technically a lens, but we need to stop talking about it that way. It is an ADAPTER. Your Osmo Action 6 lens is fixed and is far sighted (up close objects appear blurry but everything else is sharp). When you apply the macro lens, you are not exchanging the fixed, built-in lens.... You are simply using a diopter to trick the camera into thinking that close objects are actually far. There is temptation to classify this as a lens that let's you dial in a very shallow focal plane, but it's not doing that in a traditional sense, and I think expectations are mismatched with reality. It is well built, and gives you just enough background separation to direct the viewers attention, But the whole point is to be able to get closer to objects. It is nuanced but effective. If you want to make your Osmo Action 6 NEAR SIGHTED instead of the default far-sighted focal distance, this is how you do it.

Can a ND filter go on top of the macro lens? And if so, can you suggest one that would fit. Can be fixed or variable.

Filters cannot be used with the DJI Macro Lens for Osmo Action 6 (BH # DJOA6ML). This lens has no front threadings to accept filters or other front of lens accessories.

The lens on the DJI Osmo Action 6 would unscrew allowing you to attach the DJI Macro Lens for Osmo Action 6 onto the camera.
