HPRC FX6-2550W-01 Overview

Use this 2550W Wheeled Hard Case from HPRC to transport and protect your Sony FX6 camera and its essential accessories. The hard-shell case features two sturdy carry handles, or you can also use the retractable pull handle and two wheels for easy transport. Its two-latch closure system keeps the case secure, and it is rated IP67 dust and waterproof.

The custom-cut foam insert has space for the FX6 and accessories, including the smart handle (can be attached to camera), several batteries, a battery charger, cables, a 3.5" LCD monitor, two lenses, and a smart grip. The lid of the case is also foam-lined to offer additional protection for your camera gear.

This case has made my life absolutely seamless!! The connivence and organization that this case offers is incredible. At first I was upset because the lense portion didn’t hold any of my lenses so I thought u was a waste of space. I took out the insert and boom I put my Sony fx3 in its place. I don’t own many Sony fx6 batteries so that was another dilemma. Great news though because the insert is removable and my Sony fx3 charger fit perfectly so I have all my camera equipment in 1 case and still space for additional batteries. A down side is that the yellow inlay is very sharp so be carful around those edges when grabbing your equipment out. Definitely not a deal breaker but something to be aware of. The case is lightweight and the rollers are smooth! If you are in search of a case for your FX6 get this one!! ASAP the hard shell case just gives you peace of mind that your equipment is safe and the foam is durable not flimsy.

Looks very nice, good attention to detail, fits my gear. I like that this case lets me store the camera without having to detach the top handle, which you sometimes need a hex key for. The other cases I've seen make you detach the top handle to store. This saves time and works better.

What is the diameter of those two lens cut-outs? ...

What is the diameter of those two lens cut-outs? Can one of those fit a 24-70 GM II? Thanks.

The lens holders are designed to accommodate Sony GM lenses, so though we do not know the size of the cut outs, they should be able to hold a 24-70 GM II lens.

The dimensions indicate this could be accepted as a carry-on for flights. Has anyone had experience doing this?

The HPRC 2550W Wheeled Hard Case for Sony FX6 Camera does have dimensions close to carry on luggage sizes and is ATA 300 approved for airline travel. It is recommended to check with your airline for approved carry on luggage sizes before travel.

Can it be stored with tilta cage without baseplate?

The HPRC 2550W Wheeled Hard Case for Sony FX6 Camera is designed to fit the camera without a cage. However if your cage is form fitting it should accept the camera with the cage on.
