YC Onion Pineta Pro Reviews
High expectations, Low quality
I tested the monopod as soon as I received and I was pretty happy on how it operates. However after only five minutes of using it in my kitchen I realized that the lower part of the rod is no longer locking in place. When I press the trigger to set the monopod to the lowest setting and try to move it around, the lower half of the monopod will extend without me pressing on the trigger. After multiple attend to make it stop from sliding up I realized that the lower half does not have enough resistance from holding the weight of the legs. Another thing I noticed is that once the mono pod is extended half way and I push down on the rod with the lock mechanism engaged it only takes a little bit of force to push down on the monopod. I had high expectations from this monopod. unfortunately the quality control is nonexistent. I will be returning this and never buy any products from YC Onions ever again.
YC ONION PINETA Pro Monopod – Honest Review
I bought this monopod and have used it only twice. On the second day, the zipper of the carrying bag completely broke when I opened it, which was really disappointing. The monopod itself is very good and works perfectly. However, the bag clearly has a manufacturing issue. Because of that, I cannot recommend this monopod for the bag, but apart from this problem, everything else has been fine so far.
