It fits my 103 well, it did require B & H sending me a tutorial email because it does not come with instructions and I was initially under the impression that I needed an additional adapter for the mic itself, but none is needed. A bit pricey considering the base I purchased was literally one fifth the price, but little else should be expected from Neumann.

No, the Neumann SG 2 Stand Mount is not compatible for use with the RODE NT2-A Large-Diaphragm Multipattern Condenser Microphone. You could use a shock mount like the Auray SM-RM20 Shockmount (B&H # AUSMRM20).
