The M500V White/Infrared LED Weapon Light from SureFire combines the build-quality that Military and Law Enforcement personnel have come to depend on with the functionality needed for success during a wide range of tactical operations. This weapon light is specially designed for daylight, low light, and NVD applications. Both beams are focused by a TIR lens that produces a comparatively tight beam suited for short to medium-range engagement.
Replace the forend on M4 or other carbine style firearms with SureFire's fully integrated tactical forend and operators have complete control over all WeaponLight functions. Easily toggle between white and infrared LED illuminators via the self-locking selector ring, then use the fingertip accessible momentary-on pressure switch and constant-on rocker switch on the forend assembly to control illumination. Additional low-output LED navigation lights are intended to illuminate the path ahead and are also controllable with a dedicated pressure pad switch.
A system-disable rotary switch at the rear of the LED housing locks all illuminators in the OFF position to prevent accidental activation during transport or stealth operations.
Like other SureFire products, this configuration of their WeaponLight is engineered to withstand the rigors of the battlefield. The White/IR LED housing is shock resistant and virtually immune to intense weapon recoil. Gasket seals and a Mil-Spec anodized aerospace aluminum construction ensure that this weapon light won't fail from everyday use, harsh weather conditions, or extreme humidity.
