    Wacom Create Reviews

Bamboo Create Digital Tablet (Silver) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 85.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Tablet I work a lot in Photoshop, and a tablet is almost essential to using different brush type tools both on the image and on masks. I bought this one to replace a very old Wacom tablet I had. So far it is working as expected. The feel of this tablet is slightly different than my previous one, so I have to get used to that difference. Not sure how to describe, but maybe like drawing with pencil on rough paper when my old one was more like a felt pen on very smooth paper. The programmable buttons are great to be able to make certain functions easier. Also the wireless option is nice as the cable is a little short.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stepped up from Graphire 4 I'v used Wacom tablets for years. The Create replaces a 4x6 Graphire so the bigger area is odd. I use it for photo editing and retouching. It is great for that and the bigger surface gives more precision. The surface is textured so the feel is more like a pencil on rough paper. I worry that the paint will wear off. My past Wacoms all developed trenches in the surface, except for the Graphire. I like the Create a lot better. The removable cord is a plus, since most of my old ones died at the wire. The wire's shortness is a pain. Do buy a UBS extension cord unless you are sure 3 feet is enough.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great table. don't need to get more expe it's gret tablet. not sure what's the point in spending so much more for the other models. however, wacom products seem to be having some minor issues when starting up computers on osx. currently 1 out of 5 or so times, software does not start at start up or takes some times before entering in function or sometimes might need to go in system preferences and open utility from there for pen to start functioning. odd issue. presume has to do with latest updates on os10.8. might just be my computer. smaller tablet is probably all it takes (i end up reducing drawing size to 1/2 of the available on this one. design is pretty

Rated 5 out of 5 by from To Think I Ever Drew Without A Tablet The Bamboo Create was my main present for Christmas this year, and all I've been asking for for months. I am BEYOND happy with this product. I always drew with just a mouse and I was getting tired of spending 8+ hours on a single peice of digital art. Now, with my lovely new Wacom tablet I can draw in about 6 hours- and draw a lot better for that matter. I can now sketch with great ease, as the tablet can tell when I'm applying pressure. My lines come out nice and smooth and it truly is great fun even to just doodle. I love how my artwork comes out now, and my days of using a mouse seem long gone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes a mouse feel like a bulldozer I got this for photo editing in Lightroom (mostly) and in Photoshop Elements, which is conveniently bundled with the Bamboo tablet. I can't believe I ever tried to do precision work with a mouse. This is the right tool for the job. It is as precise as a real pencil, and the various buttons can all be configured to suit your workflow. It comes with a bunch of tutorials, and they're well indexed so I could skip the lessons I wasn't interested in. Within an hour, I was putting out better quality work than ever before.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Satisfied! I am truly happy with my purchase. I'll get the most negative thing out of the way first. The cloth pen hold at the side is a waste. I find it too tight to easily insert or remove the pen. I do not use it. It is a non-issue for me. As a semi-pro photographer I use Photoshop and Lightroom alone with various plug-ins and other photo apps. This tablet works great. My concerns about not purchasing Wacom's higher end medium Intuos5 model were quickly erased once I began using the product. The bundled software is good as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All I expected. I have been using this tablet for a week, and so far works like a charm, and it has made my work with photo-restorations a lot more enjoyable. Its easy to install, easy to use and the version of Corel painter essentials it includes is pure fun.The only problem with the design is the abrassive texture it has. Apparently Wacom thought it was a good idea to add it in order to give the users a realistic pen and paper feel, it turns out that the surface can quickly eat away the pen nib. This models comes with 3 replacement pen nibs so you can keep using it for ages but that doesnt stop the surface from getting scratched by the pen. In order to avoid this I Simply covered the drawing surface with a piece of paper (I will probably have to replace in a couple of weeks as it gets damaged, but it does the work), and I adjusted the sensitivity of the tablet so I dont have to make a lot pressure to draw.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Tablet for Price This is an upgrade for me from the small Bamboo Fun. It is definitely an improvement with regard to drawing space and tablet sensitivity. I like the feel of the surface and the connection between what I'm drawing and what I see on the screen is great. The touch feature is just okay. It does not fully replicate the apple touch pad and its irritating that the up/down scrolling gesture is the reverse of Apple with no way to change it. Additionally, if you try to draw with touch on, it can cause problems. I wasn't wiling to pay for an Intuos, so this was a good purchase for me and am glad I did it.
