Photographer's Formulary Potassium Sulfite 48% Solution is a pre-dissolved solution containing 48% potassium sulfite by volume. Potassium salts are used when mixing photographic chemistry due to their higher water-solubility when compared to sodium. Potassium sulfite is a common preservative in developer agents such as Rodinal.
