I have been buying these albums since the days of film photography. Originally I liked them because of the acid-free paper and the large format. I hike a lot, often to mountaintops, and we liked to take 360o panoramic photos from peaks and put them together across 1 or sometimes 2 pages of the album. I still do this, though my mountaintop treks are less frequent now. But the photo album habit is a bit of an addiction; I have more than 80 that are filled and a backlog of 5 years’ worth of photos. I hope you never stop making this album!

I have been buying these specific albums for 20 years - thanks to B &H Photo Video for a super fast shipment at a terrific price. The PIoneer JMZ 207 is my go to album for my family's memories as it can hold four or five 4 x 6 photos on a page and can be expanded to hold another 20 or so pages. Thanks!!

Can the self-adhering pages safely be used if both photos and paper documents (diplomas, certificates , etc.) are included?

how many pages total can this album hold including refills? i have 1500 photos - how many of these albums would i need?

20 sheets can comfortably be used. On occasions I've squeezed in a few more, but the binding piece does not extend too far into the front and back covers, so you can only expand so much. Without knowing the sizes of the photos, it's impossible to tell how many you would need. You can fit six 4x6 photos on one page if they are all vertical or all horizontal.

Album is 16 1/2 x 12 1/2. Is expandable we are at 1 1/4 in in ours now. Pages have usable space of 15 x 12 plus 1 1/2 for binding. We have mostly 5 4 x 6 photo per page. Greater lap size album.

The JMV-207 album has self-adhering pages. Are these really safe to use on valuable old photos?

I purchased my first book in 1989 after my first child was born and I started our family album, in 1993 my second child was born and I thought I better get a second book. Once the kids got into school I added their 8x10 school photos and in 2001 I had another child is the book was filling up. i have 25 pages in each book. In 2007 i had my first grandchild to add, so this year I did not find my book in the store anymore and was so excited to find it on line. In 1989 my first book started with our wedding photos from 1985. I love the book it is in great shape and I keep adding the kids photos as they get older.
