While this charger universal in nature, it has not been tested specifically with the LP-E6 for the Canon EOS 5D Mark III.

i just received the Power2000 Battery Charger. There is no manual to show how to insert batteries or what the blue button at the bottom is for. How do you insert the batteries so they are not falling out?

The battery charger I bought is a PEARSTONE and my batteries are 2600mAh I dont know if it may be considered as a UNIVERSAL one , but if that charger has the same problem than mine the only way to place the batteries correctlly is by marking or writing a + sign in the upper side of the charger ( below the Brand name) in such a way we can see it well when replacing batteries to charge. The charger does have the + sign indicator but is in the deep of the battery holder and almost invisible. It is easy to confuse and placing batteries up side down results in charger burning almost inmediately. I had that God damn experience..
