question
Are these compatible with the Profoto Pro-8a packs?
It will depend on which Profoto Pro-8A power pack you own. Of the options we carry, only the Profoto Pro-8A 2400 Air Power Pack, B&H # PRP8A2400PW, is listed as having the PocketWizard Radio Receiver built into the power pack; the other options use Profoto's own Air Remote system, not the PocketWizard system. As such, with the Profoto Pro-8A 2400 Air Power Pack, B&H # PRP8A2400PW, you would only need one PocketWizard Plus III Transceiver connected to your camera to trigger your power pack. With the other options, you would need two (2) PocketWizard remotes to trigger the pack; one connected to the camera, and one connected to the power pack via a 1/4 phono sync cable.

question
Need to attach Plus III in receiver mode to the back of a monolight which requires RCA phono plug (1/4 ). I can connect the Plus III via its supplies chord and adapters to the monolight, but they just hang from the light via the coiled chord. Not safe or acceptable. Do I really have to jerry-rig some way of connecting the Plus III to the monolight? Hasn't PocketWizard provided suitable accessories to accomplish this? Found nothing at their website and the owner manual is also little help.
Being that the Plus III unit has a on the back, the Impact Atom Clamp With 1/4-3/8 Screw Adapter B&H # IMME100K can be connected to it. This is going to allow the Pocket Wizard to rest closer to the stand.

question
Hi,I have three Nikon Cameras D4, D700 and D7100 and two Speedlight SB900 and SB910.Now I would like to trigger all three cameras and the two speed lights, which are mounted off-camera with a remote trigger that I hold in my hand. What is the ideal PocketWizard equipment combination to achieve this setup ?ThanksAndreas
Each camera will need a Pocketwizard Plus 3 attached to the hot-shoe.Then each will need an appropriate Pocketwizard sync cord attached to the Plus 3 and the camera. The D4 and D700 use the same cable, PocketWizard N10-ACC-1 Pre-Trigger Remote Cable The link is, http://bhpho.to/18NSJq4The D7100 uses a different cord, PocketWizard N-MCDC2-ACC-1 Pre-Trigger Remote Cable. And that link is, http://bhpho.to/18NSDyXThen each flash will need a Plus lll attached to them. And you need another pocketwizard plus 3 three as a trigger. This set up is for manual flash not TTL. The channels on the trigger and the camera need to be the same and the flashes need to be set to one channel higher than the camera.

question
Could these trigger the Profoto Air Monolights w/o having another receiver hooked up to it?
No, it will not. The Profoto AIr monolights has Profoto's own Air system built into the units, and they require the use of a Profoto Air Remote or Air Sync transceiver. If you wish to use PocketWizard remotes, you would need one for the camera as a transmitter and one connected to the lights as a receiver for wireless communication and triggering between the units.

I have 2 Alien Bee lights. Would this PocketWizard work with them?
Yes! You will need one PocketWizard for your camera and one for each remote strobe. The Plus III radios come with a miniphone to miniphone cable, which is the size you need for the AlienBee.
