Think Tank Photo StreetWalker overview

  • 1Description

Take your photography gear on the road with the versatile, well made, black StreetWalker V1 Backpack from Think Tank. Inside the spacious, padded, zippered main compartment are touch-fastening dividers for organizing a gripped pro DSLR with attached 70-200mm f/2.8 lens, up to four additional lenses, a flash, and the included rain cover. Under the lid are clear-mesh zip pockets for accessories. On the front of the pack are an adjustable quick release strap and a tripod strap, for attaching a medium-sized tripod.

Also on the exterior front of the pack are two zippered front pockets. The upper one has an organizer panel for smaller items such as pens, batteries, memory cards, and a cell phone. Dual zippered pockets on either side of the pack have matching stretch pockets for storing a water bottle, gloves, or other gear. On top of the pack is an ID card holder and a padded grip handle. For added security, the YKK zipper pulls can accept a user-supplied, optional padlock.

The StreetWalker V1 Backpack is comfortably worn with the padded shoulder straps, chest connector, and removable waist belt. Stretch pockets on the shoulder straps are useful for storing sunglasses or other small items. Above each pocket is a D-ring for attaching a front-mounted camera or other gear. Photographers will greatly appreciate the breathable air-mesh back panel, lumbar support, and cooling air channels. For strength and durability, the pack is constructed from 1680D ballistic nylon, closed-cell PU foam, water-repellent coatings, and antique nickel-plated metal hardware.

Bottom front pocket can be used to carry a tripod or monopod

    Think Tank Photo StreetWalker reviews

StreetWalker V1 Backpack (Black) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 60.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epic camera backpack! Really loving the Think Tank Streetwalker! I tried the Timbuk2 Espionage, but the space was small, bag was heavy, & the straps started to hurt my shoulders after 4 miles of walking, so I wound up returning the Espionage. The Think Tank Streetwalker fits everything I need... Canon 5DmkIII, 70-200mm 2.8 IS II, 85mm 1.2, 24-105mm 4, Rapid Strap, Flash, Ray Ring Flash, Batteries, Blower, Snack, Flashlight, & either a tripod or bottle of water on the tripod straps with a little extra room to spare for knick knacks or more snacks. I've taken it on 12 mile hikes with the bag weighing in at 12-17 lbs and came home feeling no shoulder pain what so ever. The pads are nice and padded.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Fit This backpack bag fits perfectly to wear full of gear very comfortably all day. It also perfectly fits my Cannon 5D MK-3 with attached 70mm - 200mm lens along with battery charger, 2 prime lenes, and still additional room for more extras. The zippered pockets on the flap openings provide excellent storage for manuals, notepads, ipads, memory cards and other items you might find the need to take along on your Streetwalker photo shoot. I cannot say enough about this bag, It's definitly worth the expense for this great looking, stylish, and functional bag. I'm thrilled with my decision to purchase it and I'm sure you would be too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag Great bag. I have a Nikon D810 with a 24-70mm f2.8 and a 70-200mm f2.8. This bag fits all of this comfortably with either of the lenses mounted on the camera itself. It is comfortable to carry around even though that amount of camera gear is quite heavy. There are plenty of pockets for memory cards, batteries, filters etc. I have also used it for carrying a tripod on the outside and it works fine for doing that also. Very happy with it, also it looks good with more fashionable styling than many others, not one of those boxy ugly bags that screams camera case, rob me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Camera Bag Ever I purchased this camera bag because I have a bit of a bad shoulder (old age, I guess) and was tired of continually hiking the typical Nikon bag back up to position. Then, putting it down on benches, car seats, or wet ground when taking my shots. The Saturday after receiving the bag, I threw it on and headed for the car for a morning of photography fun. I realized I had made a good choice even before I got to the car. Well balanced and although laden with equipment, it felt comfortable. And the ability to keep it on my back when shooting as just an added bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Think Tank StreetWalker Backpack a Winner I purchased this backpack on sale to replace my old one that no longer zipped shut. I usually like to see items such as this firsthand to see how they work with my gear. But the reviews were good so I purchased this item online. It is well made with beefy zippers and is ergonomically comfortable when fully loaded. I pack a Nikon D750 with 24-70 lens and a 70-200 lens. The fit's slightly tight but works well. There's still room for a few accessories (batteries, speed light, etc). The size should also work well for travel and should easily stow under an airline seat or overhead (if you can find room these days!). I recommend this product line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far , so good Photography is a hobby for me, so I wanted a bag to take with me that would also be also good for hiking. This bag is wonderful for travel...not too big, but holds my Nikon with an 18-300 lens, plus room for more(there is room to store 3-4 more lenses). However I put a few personal things in there for when I am hiking, and I don not like to carry a lot of lenses on hikes. The bag is very comfortable with wide straps, a nice size to take on the plane, and extra storage for your passport , credit cards, etc. I am very happy with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great for anyone... Except if you have a battery grip I haven't used this at all for trips, but once I got it I realized that it does not hold a camera with a battery grip, and will not close even if you try. The streetwalker pro should hold with a battery grip, just check with B&H to make sure, since I needed this and it did not fit my gear since I had battery grips on my cameras. Other than that, this seems like a great bag for people who don't like battery grips. That's why I gave it 1 star because of the fact that it doesn't work for me. That way this will be a red flag for those who have battery grips and want to put cameras with battery grips inside this bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost ideal Excellent backpack in terms of room. It can easily carry a Nikon D750 with a 28-300mm attached, a SB600 flash, a 70-200mm, and an 18-35mm, with room left over for extras. Lots of pockets, and the auxiliary straps make it easy to attach items to the outside. The only complaint I have (after years of having a sling bag) is that getting the camera out to begin shooting is a slightly longer process, and requires laying the bag flat. It's comfortable to carry because of the well-padded straps.
