A volume control lets you adjust the level of your voice to the needs of your area, while a built-in siren and alarm can be used to get attention or alert people. An external audio device such as an iPod or an MP3 player can be plugged into the bullhorn by means of its 3.5mm jack. The housing is lightweight, yet the sound is powerful, thanks to the dynamic piezo driver and the shape of the horn.

I ordered this product because at the school I work at, when we take the kids out for recess, it was hard to get specific grades lined back up to go in. With the Pyle Pro Megaphone, all I do is turn on the siren to get their attention, and with 1700 yards of voice projection, they easily hear their grade being called, plus I can remind them to pick up any of their individual items that they may have brought with them. This makes the daily routine so much easier!!!!!

I live on a Brooklyn block that, despite the relentless march of gentrification, continues to be populated by loud, rowdy, intoxicated people at all hours of the night. I use this small, lightweight but exceptionally powerful megaphone to put these losers in their place!

"Takes 8, C batteries." That's a lot. How long do they last? Also, is this convertible to a V-mount system?

The Pyle Pro PMP53IN does not offer a V-Mount adapter. A battery life estimate has not been provided by the manufacturer.
