question

Are there any wheels that can be adapted to this C-stand?
Asked by: Luis
Short answer is, No, not unless you have access to an engineering shop. Much better solution is to look at a Kupo Runway Base Stand. B&H #UKS301012. Cheap ($100), solid with similar footprint and folds for storage. Has a 1.125 reciever and will accept your C-stand risers (which youll have to buy separately if you dont already have). Ive been really happy with these. I believe Impact do something similar

question

I want to purchase these C-Stands along with casters. Which size of Impact casters fit these stands?
Asked by: Robert R.
The turtle base is not designed to accept casters and I don't think modifying it would be the best plan for reasons of stability. I have found the Kupo Runway Base Stand to be the best alternative for a wheeled base. I think it's at least as good as the Manfrotto, but it costs less than $100. It accepts the same 1 1/8 junior riser spigot as the Turtle stand base. I've not used the Mathews equivalent - I hear from colleagues that it's good, but I'd rather have three Kupos for the money and enough change left over for a slap up dinner at Mrs Muggins' Pie Shop.

question

If I break it down will it fit into a suitcase that is 27 to 30 ?
Asked by: Jeremy
Yes, we believe so. You can separate the legs from the pole. When separated from the legs, the pole is 31 long. We believe if you put it into the suitcase diagonally it would fit. And the legs are about 25 long when separated from the pole.
