It attaches, horizontally or vertically, using Lowepro's t-Lock system that wraps around and secures with a firm touch fastener.

Access to your camera is achieved via the dual #5 YKK zippers that have handy pull tabs for even faster opening-especially if you happen to be wearing gloves. Dashpoint 30 Camera Pouch (Slate Gray) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 48.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect I use this bag for my Panasonic LX100 camera (with filter). It is hard to find a camera bag small enough to slip onto a backpack strap and have the dimensions needed for a camera a bit larger than the typical point & shoot. This bag fits my camera well and would fit many mirrorless cameras depending upon lens. I like that it comes with a detachable strap and has velcro closures on the back that allow it to slip onto a belt (horizontally) or backpack strap (vertically). My only nit is that, although it comes with a small pocket for an extra SD card, it does not have a spot for a extra battery. I run out of battery juice before I run out of card space.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for large compact cameras or small prime lenses I got this for my Panasonic LX100 which I often carry with its hotshoe flash installed. However, I also found that it can serve as a lens case for some of my small Nikon prime lenses. The backside has two velcro loops to allow for different carrying options - one so you can hang it on your belt, and another so you can hang it on a backpack or shoulder strap. It's the perfect size for a large compact camera, but one thing to note is that, except for one tiny slot under the top cover to store an SD card, this case has no other internal or external pockets for extra accessories like a battery or filter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Pouch for Canon M3 + 18-55mm I purchased this pouch for my Canon M3 + 18-55mm. Fits like a glove. I can easily toss this inside of another bag with confidence it will protect completely. And without added bulk. e.g. I carry it in my purse daily (alternating with the Dashpoint 20). I even leave it unzipped for a real pocket experience when within another bag. There are no added compartments for anything else really - just a tiny elastic pocket for an SD card, as described, but that's sufficient for my purposes. (I store extra batteries elsewhere) Really great little pouch, would definitely recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile pouch I own all 3 sizes of this pouch. I like them because they can attach vertically (shoulder straps on a backpack) as well as horizontally (belts). This is probably as big as this design can get without the structure becoming floppy and start sagging. I would give it 5 stars if it could hold a small battery. It has a very small pouch for an extra SD card, but I usually run out of battery life before I run out of SD card space.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poorly designed shape / Lots of features at a great price I bought this pouch to hold my Sony A6000 when I am hiking familiar trails and only want to take the kit lens. Although this is a quality bag with many features at an incredible price, it also suffers from a major design fail: the shape. I'm not sure what the team at Lowepro was thinking when they decided to aggressively round over the top and bottom edges so much. Viewed from the side, the bag is shaped like a D. The angle shown in the photo makes it appear more squared off. What this means is that the space on the inside is much more cramped than it would first appear, while on outside the rounded over shape offers no space savings and pretty much takes up the same amount of room as it would if it had squared edges. The Sony A6000's kit lens is pancake shaped and more compact than many mirrorless kit lenses, yet with a filter attached it is quite a squeeze to fit into this bag. This is the largest bag in the series and it can barely fit what it is designed for: a mirrorless camera + pancake lens. The camera + lens would otherwise fit fine if the edges weren't rounded over to such a large degree. Its a shame because the bag has a lot of positive features. The pros: - Well made - Well padded - Flap opens outward - Card holder pocket - Attach to belt/loops either horizontally or vertically - Comes with detachable shoulder strap and what appears to be pretty good quality plastic clips - Eyelets for attaching shoulder strap

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for m4/3 camera Case fits my GX85 perfectly, and seems it will protect it well, taking up minimal space. (I use this when I need to drop the camera in another bag, but it seems better protected in this case than in the Zing pouches I use for lenses.) I added a pair of Peak Design strap anchors and will just use my camera strap for the bag when I want to carry it that way; otherwise, that Peak Design strap, together with the wrist version, fit just fine in the case, together with the camera.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great for mirrorless cam with stock lenses I use this for bringing a mirrorless (Samsung nx500) with a standard lens up hard rock and ice climbs. Allows me to bring a serious camera where a dslr can't really go. Kept my camera dry in a light rain but not totally waterproof. I also have the 20 for my smaller zoom camera. both are great for climbing or other activities, clip a binder into the back and onto your harness or pack. Could use some specific features for this application but works as good as anything I've found. Could also work for other light and fast applications beyond alpinism.
