PFMR Metal Pop Filter with Gooseneck (5.5") is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Durable, inexpensive and easy to use I purchased this to go on my Rode PSA 1 in front of my Rode Procaster. Even though the Procaster has an internal pop filter, I'm rather free with my plosives so I wanted a little something extra. The clamp looks to be designed to work with both square and round tubing so mounting it was easy. I put it on the top bar of the PSA 1 so when I lift it up, it actually moves away from the mic. The edge is pretty rough so I use some split loom I had laying around. It's cheap and can be found in just about any auto-parts store. It was easy to slip on and works great. The arm is flexible enough to allow a wide range of positioning. I adjusted it until I liked it and then tightened the clamp down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More than satisfied for a singer/songwriter I use this as a singer/songwriter. I record and mix my own songs so it was an accessory that I was looking forward to having. I have been most pleased with this metal pop filter. It is my first pop filter but I know the price for a metal pop filter is usually more expensive so I was quite pleased! In the times I have used it I have been pleased with it's ability to reduce and eliminate the pop of my 'p's and 't's when I'm singing as well as my guitar. The flexible gooseneck did take some experimenting to get it to a good position, but now it works like a charm. I would certainly recommend this to anyone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works! It works! I like that it is metal instead of mesh fabric for durability. As other reviewers have mentioned the edges are unfinished which may decrease longevity and allows the screen to get caught on fabrics and scratch other equipment. I am keeping the filter inside the original box until I figure out a better way to store it with my other equipment. The gooseneck does a good job holding the screen in place without sagging. The mount only works on thinner diameter items. It does fit on the thicker tubing of a music stand but should fit most microphone stands.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works, this PFMR Filter I purchased the PMFR Metal Round Pop Filter with the 5.5 inch gooseneck and found that it works as advertised. I was sort of saddened when I first opened its box an found that the mesh is such a raw cut. that It could snag on and/ or cut anything which it contacts, so be careful if you buy one. I put black electrical tape around it to cover the rough edge and will eventually use hot black glue for the same thing at some later date. The nut comes loose all the time and causes the filter to drop from in front of the mic. I will find something that will not slip I am sure, All in all this is a rather inexpensive object and does filter out the pops and snaps from voices when you just don't have the time to do it electronically. I give this an average rating because it actually does what is claimed that it does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent performer This was more than I wanted to spend on a pop filter, but none of the items below it in price seemed to be favored by a majority of people. I also did not know that they MADE metal pop filters, or that they performed this well. This is a nice product, it checks all the boxes on the good side of what people always seem to be hollering about on the cheap items. Can't find a flaw outside of the rim, which is left un-trimmed, not sharp, but oddly incomplete-seeming. To finish it would have been another 5-8 bucks though, and I don't need it trimmed with a rubber edge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective This is an effective pop filter and does quite well in filtering speakers who exhale heavy through their nose as well as other plosives. I find a metal screen is good for use in settings where multiple people will be using the same screen as it's easy to wipe clean. The construction of this is decent enough. I foresee having to keep tightening up the connections as the ones I have tend to loosen up after a bit of adjusting of the gooseneck. It is also doesn't stay in some basic positions very well (depending on where and in what position you are able to anchor it).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK for Price This pop filter works fine. It is very much like the Stedman filters I own, but to save money, they chose not to put any kind of covering around the edges. That makes it a little less durable, I believe, and causes it to be a bit sharp to the touch. Otherwise, I'll recommend this as a good filter for the $$, with the caveats above.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from solid The pop filter works as expected. The metal one is sturdy and the gooseneck is easily flexible. The clamp has a screw you use to tighten so you'll need to attach it that way and it won't attach directly to the audio technica at2020. The edges on the pop filter itself is a bit sharp and will snag on clothing, etc.
