Folding Wheeled Base Stand (Black/Chrome-plated, 8.5') is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A solid stand that works perfect! We use this stand commonly in the studio. I was worried that the wheel base wouldn't be wide enough to have enough support to keep from being top heavy. I could not have been more wrong! Not only is the stand very smooth and fluid to roll around it is also very sturdy. The locking wheels are very simple to step on and lock and they hold without any give to the wheels. The adjustable height keeps this stand as our go to in the studio. The locking legs also fold up with a quick pull of a lever and make it very simple to take as an on location piece as well. Only problem is now I need to get a couple more!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's OK It's a $50 cheaper knock-off of the Avenger Roller Folding Base Stand, it does the job. I bought it as a last minute need-it-right-now for one use, but it'll stick around for longer. The base is sturdy, the risers seem flimsier than other brands. I had some trouble screwing in one of the 3 braked wheels but nothing insurmountable. I used a Profoto B1 with a 5' umbrella on it, the weight wasn't a problem but you must use sand bags with this. If you need something similar but for long time use, look at the Avenger. Folding wheels mech, risers & overall seem better made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rolling Base I currently have an Impact Boom Arm attached to this stand with a strobe, softbox, and 7 lbs counter weight attached to the boom. The stand is extended about 6.5 ft up and I have a sandbag across one of the legs. It works great. It's so nice to nudge it around on the wheels without having to pick it up like a c stand. I've had it a couple weeks and it seems very solid. I will be buying one more. Folds up nice for tossing in a vehicle too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid and functional I'm so glad I purchased this rolling stand. I've wanted one for years - it makes it so easy and quick to shift lighting patterns. It's very solid and rolls along easily and smoothly. The best thing about this stand is the foldable legs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Durable and Slick I use this tripod in both my studio and on location. It is just compact enough to stick in a bag as the wheels fold upward and make an easy to pack. The wheels are also very smooth which makes moving lights easy and effortless.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pretty good stand This stand seems pretty well built. The only thing you have to watch out for is using a boom arm or grip arm with this stand. The legs do not spread out very far so be sure and use enough sand bags so it doesnt topple over. Other than that its a great stand. It folds up to a pretty small footprint and is not to heavy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid and functional With my time of using this gear on my University's highest budget film to date I have found it to be extremely sturdy. The metal is well built and I found that if I locked it down there was no way of any slippage while gripping and gearing up lights. I used these on the several days of production and even if they hold some good weight it is always good to throw a sandbag. This stand I will use for many years to come and even with rough use I don't see much from stopping that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rolling cstand replacement I own four of these now, they are reliable solid stands, i use them in place of cstands in my studio especially when working alone, I can easily roll a stand into a better position without an assistant - due to the less wide base I alaways sandbag these stands for safety
