Impact LSP-SFB8 Reviews
Great studio stands
Nice finish, quality materials, great for the price. Be aware these are very heavy not for location work unless you have a very strong assistant or a gorilla.
Highly Recommend
I absolutely love this wheeled stand! It replaces a cheap stand( still in use) that supported a large soft box. This stand is used for my Smallrig 120D light diffuser and it works great! I love the the strength and mobility it has so I never have to worry about stability and trying to reposition a light by lifting and trying to be careful of knocking other things over. It was very easy to assemble and I'm looking forward to purchasing another soon. Oh yeah, the price was right! Thanks B&H!
Love having wheels!
I'm using 2 of these, one to hold a TV in my studio so I can see what my camera is doing while I'm filming myself. The 2nd one is holding a boom pole/microphone. I love the wheels, makes it so convenient to move around and position them, or put them away when done.
Exceeded my expectations
Exactly what I was looking for - a sturdy light stand with wheels that would feel solid enough to hold a heavy light and modifier. This stand comes fully assembled - all you have to do is screw on the wheels (tip - this is super easy to do if you lock them first). Setup took all of 5 minutes. Impressed with how robust this stand seems for the price and am looking forward to using it!
Very happy
Very happy
Yes to this stand!
The foldable legs are very easy to use compared to a c-stand. The lock off wheels (castors) are a must!! Having the wheels on the light stand will help you relocate your light when you have multiple setups.
I now own two and three and a half stars seems right
I now own two of these. Note that you can make them 4.5 stars versus 3.5 in my opinion. How? By ensuring every time you use them that the wheels are properly tightened down and that the sleeves they insert into are stable. Otherwise - they get wobbly and work loose and you risk having the whole thing fall apart or fall over (or both). This is a design flaw that needs fixed. The other issue keeping it from being 5 stars is the pin where you mount the light. It just doesn't seem right. It has worked thus far and maybe I am being unfair by calling it out - but it just doesn't seem like it will hold up. For the price though I am okay with it not being perfect. All that said - these are useful stands (again - I own 2) at a very low price point compared to similar products. If you need a roller on occasion and can remember to thoroughly inspect them before use then they are a good buy. I am going to add a third in the future.
Super handy and versatilte!
This is one of my favorite stands to put my Osee filed monitor on set. I love how convenient it is to move around set. Perfect for moving on the fly type of set up. I highly recommend it.
