Entry Period/Methods of Entry. The Sweepstakes will run from on or about October 28, 2018 until on or about December 23, 2018 (the "Entry Period"). Entries received outside the Entry Period are void. Winner Selection/Prizes/Odds. The B&H Social Team will randomly select a winner from among all eligible entries every Monday during the Entry Period, for a total eight (8) winners (each a "Winner"). Each Winner will receive a B&H Gift Card pre-valued in the amount of $500.00. No cash or other substitutions will be offered. Winner selection is in the sole and absolute discretion of the B&H Social Team. Any taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be notified and receive their prize at the email address associated with the account to which their Entry was posted or the email account provided with a mail-in entry. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Identity of Winners/Eligible Participants. Winners will be identified by the email account associated with the Facebook or Twitter account from which their Entry was submitted or the email account provided with a mail-in entry. An email account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such email account by the internet access or online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with such email account. Any issues regarding the identity of a Winner shall be resolved by Sponsor in its sole discretion. The Sweepstakes is only open to residents of the United States that are at least eighteen (18) years of age on their entry date and is not open to employees of Sponsor, their immediate family, any person domiciled with such employees, or any affiliates or subsidiaries of Sponsor.

Entry Ownership/Entrant Agreements. Entrants retain full ownership and copyrights to their Submission. However, by entering the Sweepstakes entrants grant Sponsor permission to use their Entries for promotional purposes on their respective social media channels with proper credit. With a total of twelve outlets, the Intelligent LCD CP1500AVRLCD Uninterrupted Power Supply from CyberPower can handle your power needs for a variety of devices from computers to routers and modems, and much more. The twelve total outlets are broken down into six battery and surge protected outlets and six surge-only protected outlets. Among the twelve outlets, two are widely spaced, giving you the ability to use a variety of plug types with this uninterrupted power supply.

Once configured, you benefit from up to 12 minutes of runtime at half load and 3 minutes of run time at full load, with up to 1,500 joules of integrated surge protection. Aside from standard power outlets, this UPS also comes equipped with a 1-in, 1-out combo Phone RJ11 / Ethernet RJ45 port, a 1-in, 1-out coax port, a serial port, and a USB Type-B port. Included with this UPS is a USB Type-B to Type-A cable.

Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) in line-interactive UPS systems stabilizes the incoming AC signal to maintain output power at a nominal 120V by controlling high and low voltages without resorting to battery power. This increases battery life and lessens the likelihood of data loss, memory freezes, and system crashes.
How AVR Works in a Line Interactive UPS
A line interactive UPS includes an AVR autotransformer, which is a special type of transformer designed to switch between powered coils of wire in response to variances in utility power input, thereby increasing or decreasing the magnetic field and the resulting output voltage to connected equipment.

This type of UPS tolerates undervoltage brownouts and overvoltage surges without consuming backup battery power by automatically selecting different power taps on the AVR autotransformer. During normal operation, incoming AC power bypasses the autotransformer (where voltage highs and lows are controlled) while also charging the battery. When the incoming voltage falls below the AVR range, the UPS switches to battery backup, and the DC-AC inverter circuitry is engaged. Power will continue to be supplied by the battery-inverter circuit until incoming voltage returns to the range manageable by the AVR.

I pulled the plug to see what would happen and it worked like it was supposed to. The usb port gets an occasional no communication but then goes away. If not for that, it would have been 5 stars.

APC has gone downhill since being acquired by Schneider, in my opinion. If you need new UPSs, or new PCs, I recommend CyberPower. Their quality, reliability, and price are second to none, again, in my opinion. They make great products! Check them out. (Note: I have no connection whatsoever to CyberPower, except for being happy with their products.)

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Care About the Images in Your Computer? Then You Need this. Lightening can strike at any time, as can unexpected drive failures and electrical surges. Unless you don't care about all of the images in your computer, you need this. Not only a buffer between spikes and surges, this device will allow you time to properly shut down your computer. Even though you may not readily detect it, each time your system shuts down abruptly, you have damage. The power in my home goes out more frequently than I'd like and this unit has allowed me to protect the two computers on my desk as well as the three drives that back up all of my images. For what this items costs, why wouldn't you have one?

High quality as you'd expect and very easy to operate, no major complaints. However, I've noticed that it won't let you power it on if it's at anything less than a full charge. This is a minor annoyance if, for instance, you turned it off during a power outage and wanted to turn it back on to power something else for a minute. Odd design feature, presumably intended to avoid the unit accidentally powering on during shipping, but otherwise a stellar unit. 9/10, highly recommended.

The new CyberPower unit eliminated this - showing the problem was not coming from any overload. This unit is excellent. I read other positive reviews from others as well - which influenced my decision. I'm pleased with the product and the B&H best price and customer service on everything they sell. Overall: completely satisfied. :)

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Bad Battery Backup I have a business and we rented a space that has been chopped up and put back together. Throughout all of this they haven't updated the electrical so we have a ton of stuff all on one circuit and the breaker trips all the time. Before I ordered battery backup, I would lose work all the time and now, I just keep on trucking! I have a mac mini and dual 23 inch monitors and it runs all of it no problems and indicates that it can continue to run it up to approximately an hour before depleting it's batteries. This allows for ample time to save my work and go and find the offending employee running their heater and making toast... Highly recommend this item and imagine I'll be buying more of them for the rest of my employees very soon.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unit failed and took my PC and monitor with it, No guarantee After a couple months of light usage, the unit failed and resulted in the loss of my Power Supply, Motherboard, CPU and Gaming Monitor. All units connected directly to UPS were negatively affected. Furthermore, Cyberpower claims took months of jumping through hoops to tell me that they were NOT going to honor their protection guarantee. Here is a brief of my experience: My home gaming calibur PC & monitor were plugged into a Cyberpower UPS (CP1500AVRLCD). After a few months of usage, one morning the system all shutdown unexpectedly. The UPS gave an error tone, and showed 0v was passing through the unit. I powered down the unit and restarted. The unit seemed to be working again, however the PC would NOT power on. I immediately called Cyberpower tech support, and was told to file for a Connected Equipment Warranty given the circumstances. More details below. My response from Cyberpower, is that no evidence for surge was found and the claim has been denied. Other items in the room, including lights on the same outlet, though NOT connected to the UPS and other computer equipment also not on this UPS unit did not show ANY signs of a surge or flicker. Within a few seconds of the loss of power to the PC, the UPS began alarming with an error tone and the unit itself indicated that 0 volts were passing through, while 120v is typical, though I noted that the battery indicator showed full. I saw no other indication of a surge in the home, and believe that the UPS unit itself failed and directly damaged the equipment that was connected to it. Furthermore, it is not possible that the power supply or other PC component caused the failure, as the UPS generated an error code and both items (PC & Monitor) showed damage, indicating the common denominator is the UPS. Equipment that has been damaged includes the Power Supply, Motherboard and CPU as well as the LCD monitor. I haven't been able to fully test the RAM, hard drives or Video card, but initially they and the remaining components appear functional. In my appeals to Cyberpower I have been clear, yet they are claiming the unit showed no signs of a surge and therefore they will not honor the Connected Equipment Guarantee. There may not have been a surge that entered the unit, however the unit clearly passed a damaging signal to my PC, OR power was abruptly cut which then damaged the sensitive PC components. This is the very reason a UPS is needed, so that power outages do not damage PC equipment. Cyberpower has replaced the offending unit, with what appears to be a newer model > different housing, though similar specifications. The response from Cyberpwer has been that some other component failed, and resulted in the selective damage I'm seeing. But how can a power supply remote blow up a monitor, without affecting the PCIe lanes of MB or the Graphics card?? There is no explanation, except that Cyberpower will do anything to keep your money once they have it! Buyer beware
