PFC Sinewave UPS Systems
A battery backup that adapts to multiple applications and requirements-from home/office to enterprise environments. PFC Sinewave UPS Systems provide pure sine wave protection for computer systems, networking hardware, servers, home theater equipment, telecom systems and other sensitive electronics with Active PFC or conventional power supplies. With pure sine wave output, a PFC Sinewave UPS System solves the incompatibility issues experienced when a non-sine wave UPS is attached to equipment using Active PFC power supplies by providing continuous power output-preventing unexpected shutdowns or damaging stress when switching from AC to UPS battery power. Flexible and robust, PFC Sinewave UPS Systems deliver pure sine wave protection at an affordable price.
Intelligent LCD Diagnostic Display
The front white LCD panel displays UPS vitals: input voltage level, output voltage level, automatic voltage regulator, battery capacity, energy-saving bypass mode, runtime estimate, load level, output frequency, on battery, overload, fault condition, event logging, and silent mode.
Automatic Voltage Regulation
AVR technology stabilizes the AC voltage and maintains a safe voltage level without switching to battery-mode. This conserves battery life, and delivers cleaner AC power to connected equipment.
Reduce Energy Costs & Heat Loss
This ENERGY STAR qualified UPS system utilizes patented GreenPower UPS Bypass circuitry to save on energy costs by reducing energy consumption and heat buildup.
Function Controls
Shutdown options, selectable battery backup voltage sensitivity, display and alarm options, self test and more.
Ultra-Quiet UPS
Advanced efficiency design (reduced fan operation), high-end system components, and GreenPower UPS technology help minimize sound emissions.
Tamper-Proof Power Button
The Power button has been specifically designed to minimize the chance the UPS can be turned off or interfered with by accident.
USB Connectivity
HID compliant USB port enables full integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features of Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
EMI/RFI Filters
Filters against electromagnetic interference and radio frequency interference ensuring clean power for connected equipment.
Audible Alarms
Distinctive tones identify when the unit is running on battery power, if it is overloaded, or when the battery is low.
Resettable Circuit Breaker
Convenient unit reset switch in case of an overload.
PowerPanel Personal Edition
In event of a power outage, PowerPanel PE saves open files and "hibernates" the PC to increase the run-time on the UPS unit. PowerPanel is easily installed on any Windows-based PC and uses minimal system resources. Diagnostic screens display the status of the UPS, including silent operation mode, configurable system notifications, automatic self tests, adjustable high/low voltage warnings, event/data logging, and scheduled shutdowns.
Windows Compatibility
Our PowerPanel power management software has been fully tested and is compatible with Windows 8 32/64, Windows 7 32/64, Vista 32/64, XP 32/64, 2000, 2003, Server 2008 and Server 2012.

CyberPower CP850PFCLCD reviews

CP850PFCLCD Uninterrupted Power Supply is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Priced competitively for the features Priced well compared to other units by APC. Ten outlets and USB connectivity are nice to have in a relatively small footprint. The LCD is nice too but I never use it. I also cannot comment on the included software, active PFC, and overall energy consumption. I knocked one star off because I want to see more than two of the ten outlets with larger spacing around them. Manufacturers seem to be shipping their products with horizontal-run rather than vertical-run wall warts resulting in wasted outlets due to them being covered up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value Pros: - True sine wave output for active PFC power supplies - Compact size for 850VA/510 watts capacity - User replaceable battery - LCD display provides useful information - PowerPanel monitoring/configuration software is easy to use and navigate. Cons: - Power switch should be a simpler press-on/press-off instead of press-and-hold with different tones for on and off. Sometime the switch needed to press-and-hold twice to turn the UPS on or off. - UPS should has an option to remember the last selected display mode when it is turned off so that when it's turned on the same display is shown. The estimated battery runtime for my idle PC (Intel core i3 CPU, 2 SSD drives, 2 3.5 SATA drives, 21 monitor) shown by PowerPanel software is 35 minutes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good unit for computers with PFC power Bought 10 of these as a first order to deal with the issue of sensitive PFC power supplies on my HP DC7900 small form factor PCs. My normal Cyberpower CP825 were not working with these picky power supplies and the PCs would drop and reboot on power fail even though the UPS was providing power. Bought these and problem solved. They have a pure sinewave output on battery backup and the PCs run uninterrupted when utility power fails. I am getting good runtime on them as well. These are my new favorite UPS for everyday PCs. Just wish I could return some new CP825 and get these instead. 4 stars instead of 5 because one unit was defective and was reading incorrect utility voltage and switching to battery incorrectly. B&H quickly swapped the defective unit and sent me another one. Thanks B&H. Also, when they switch to battery backup, a fan starts up and doesn't turn off when the unit switches back to utility power and the fan is a little noisy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good well made product Seems like a well made product, has a small footprint, and is doing the job. (protecting my work computer and providing uninterrupted power) I am only giving 4 stars because the true test is time (a year or so). My last ups (another brand) failed with erratic power problems after a year or so. This one was almost twice as expensive, but my data is my income. The price of this unit is reasonable. Working and doing it's job. B&H shipped this very quickly ground and I had it in a few days (even over a weekend)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High Quality for the money. Living in Texas, thunderstorms are common. Having my electronics protected is a peace of mind. I know of many people that have had equipment damaged - usually needs replaced. The battery back up is so nice - when the power drops off or out the home theater continues without a blink. Many new tvs and equipment come with filters to reduce power interference between devices, with cyberpower there has been no need for this. This is my second purchase of this same product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PFC support We have been purchasing this UPS for over a year now to ensure our HP DC7900 Small form factor PCs operate correctly due to their PFC power supplies. This UPS excels at that. With over 20 units in production, only one failed and that one was DOA. I would recommend this UPS for small to mid size PCs that are sensitive to the switchover during power failure. My only con is the fan that comes on during battery operation is definitely audible, but not overbearing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the one that works Works great. Power blips on occasion so having this has saved me thousands in repair. Have it hooked up to my pc with dual monitors and a second for my big screen and entertainment center. Gives you plenty of time to power down if power goes out for extended period of time, easy to use and setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CP850PFCLCD I use this UPS for my cable modem, VOIP phone, and router. LCD displays approximate number of minutes that the unit will provide backup power which is real handy when the power goes off. I also use a CP1350PFCLCD for my computer. Both units are easy to use and work great.
