Of course Manfrotto sets a gold standard for its equipment, and this is the same. Well made with a solid locking head that pivots. It is compact, light weight, and it does the job well.

    Solid build. Sleek design.

I use the PIXI with my Luxli Fiddle. It supports the weight with no problem. Very pleased.

This unit will support my Canon 5D mark III with 24to105 mm f4 Lens. However I wanted it to use with my series 13 pro max iPhone. Combining this tripod with the Oben QRA-A2 Quick Release and the Oben ASPTA-20 smartphone tripod adapter has made a very flexible light weight compact system to support my smartphone. I am very happy with this support system

My Joby tripod decided it could no longer support my RX 100. I've seen othe bloggers using than Manfrotto so I gave it a try. Seem well constructed and is doing the job.

    Perfect for remote flash

I use PocketWizard Flex TT5 remote flash triggers to group my four Nikon SB-700 flashes together for outdoor photoshoots. But I frequently find myself having to precariously balance them on some Branch or the ground - etc. These little lightweight - small tripods are perfect for holding these flash units. Super easy to pack in and then attach to my PocketWizard TT5 remotes. They work perfectly and are inexpensive and the way to go. Weight and size really matter when you need to pack things in. One suggestion would be to make the legs shift independent so you can set up on the uneven ground - like a hill - Like one leg out and the other two down

    Small and Useful

This little, mostly plastic, Pixie Mini Tripod has been more useful than I expected. I will often screw it onto the base of my Panasonic GX9, spread the tripod legs, and put it on my car's drivers-side door frame with the window rolled down to get an interesting shot when I see one, without any camera shake, or I should say photographer shake. It also works well for bracing the camera on fences and poles.

Is there any provision for the legs to individually lock into an intermediate position, or do they all just extend to the fully extended position?
    Asked by: Nick
No intermediate lock positions BUT I just tried mounting my iPhone SE2 using the Manfrotto phone holder device on the tripod with the legs set at various intermediate positions and it worked just fine. This was inside of course, so not subject to the whims of Nature AND using a stable platform. If you're looking to use this under studio conditions, I would think it would work satisfactorily for you.

Can it go underwater? If so, what's the depth?
    Asked by: יוחאי
It can go underwater. The only limit would be based on how deep your camera can go underwater. We don't recommend this to go in the water because the metal parts could rust.

    question

can this be hand carried in the airport or plane?
    Asked by: Ryan A.
This is a very small tripod. 7.3 long when folded. One would need to consult with the particular airline if it is acceptable to bring it onto the plane
