The Movcam Panasonic GH5 Cage provides form-fitting protection to your camera and supports mounting accessories without stressing your camera's body. Made from magnesium, the cage is both lightweight and rigid and allows full access to your camera's functions, battery, and SD card compartments. The front of the cage features two small raised tabs that secure your camera and prevents it from twisting inside the cage. It ships with a removable Metabones support attached, a support that interfaces neatly with the Arca-Swiss tripod plate.
Built into the cage are 26 separate 1/4"-20 threaded accessory mounting points as well as a cold shoe. This allows you to mount a wide variety of accessories to the cage. The Arca-Swiss tripod plate incorporates two 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes, enabling you to mount the QR tripod plate of your choice. The design of the cage permits the use of the Panasonic XLR audio adapter.

Is Arca-Swiss plate compatible with Really Right Stuff lever clamps? (Not all Arca plates are compatible.)
While we were not able to test the Movcam GH5 cage, we did a test mount of the Movcam Sony a7S cage with a RRS lever clamp ball head successfully. It is our opinion that you should not have any issues with your intended configuration.

This cage is fitted only to the GH5. Unfortunately G9 has different specifications.
