Forget everything you have ever heard about aluminum welded together for the sake of holding gel. This frame is a rectangle (no elliptical or circular shapes here), that lets you to tape gel to it. It's aluminum and again, is in the shape of a rectangle.

I throw this in front of a tweenie with some 1000h (common tracing paper) for a really beautiful diffusion effect. A bit pricey, but should last for a long time.
