Lume Cube Panel Go Reviews

Worth the money!

I record content on camera for a living, and I needed an upgrade to my existing softbox lighting that I had in my office. After quite some time spent reviewing current options on the market within the same price range, I figured this 2-pack was perfect for my limited space. Highly recommended for anyone doing some light filming!

I got one unit a while ago and ordered a second one. I use it for tabletop setups and flower photography. I gave it 4 stars because the first unit had charging problems. B&H shipped a replacement that works well.

It will mount on anything with a standard 1/4"- 20 thread. A standard light stand would just need a thread adapter.

Using the panel while connected to a charger seems to interrupt the charging process, but with 1 hour + time at max. brightness after a full charge, I don't see this to be much of an issue.

The Lume Cube go has a lux or brightness rating of about 1080 at .5 meters. After this the light will drop off and be dimmer. 3 to 8 ft would be a good working range.

In conditions where the Lume Cube Panel GO is the only light in the room, you will get a solid 15-20 feet before heavy and quick falloff.

The Lume Cube Panel GO Bi-Color LED Light Panel can be mounted on a camera when using a 1/4"-20 Male Thread to Hot Shoe Adapter which would be sold separately.
