I bought this to go into a Domke F-803. It fits well. As others have noted, the width (front to back) is perfect, but side to side, it leaves about an inch or so of unused room inside the F-803. I actually found this useful. I used it for a travel toothbrush, toothpaste and deodorant, all of which slid into that space without a problem. I also put my house keys there and my watch when going through TSA at airports. This is really just a partition device. It offers no real padding (that's what the F-803 is for). The internal dividers are also thin but functional. They can be attached anywhere inside of the compartment, which offers nice flexibility, and they are easily rearranged. I have zero concerns about the safety of my lightweight equipment using this insert. These things are always a trade-off between padding and weight. As others have noted, it's not built like a tank, and I would never use it as a stand-alone camera bag. Protected inside of the F-803, it should last for years. I would rather save the weight than carry a camera bag inside of a camera bag.
