As some others have said the controls take a few minutes to come to grips with but make sense. Combining this with a small mount and an action camera is a very cost effective way to record in low light albeit with limited range which is not a problem for me. I bought it to be a simple light panel but the multitude of modes makes me think you could have a lot of fun with this in amateur video.
