DJI Focus Pro Motor Overview

Add focus, iris, or zoom control to your camera when mounted on select RS gimbal stabilizers with the DJI Focus Pro Motor. This updated motor features a 30% speed increase over the previous model with 300 gear teeth and 10ms low latency. Control the motor via 2.4 GHz transmission technology from up to 524.9' away.

When used in zoom control mode, the Focus Pro can perform Power Zoom for PZ lenses, Clear Image Zoom, and external focus motor zoom for precise focusing. Its updated 15mm rod mount makes it more universally compatible with camera mounting configurations. Pair two Focus Pro Motors with the DJI RS 4 Pro to adjust focus with the gimbal's onboard dial and zoom with the onboard joystick for efficient lens control.

Set up was a little confusing because it doesn't come with clear instructions. After watching a few videos I found the correct menu on the Ronin RS 3 Pro and was able to set the end points. It's great to have manual focus control especially when I don't want to rely on auto focus. I wish I would have purchased this sooner.

The max torque of the DJI Focus Pro Motor is 0.6 N·m (8V), and the max speed is 300 rpm (8V). The max torque of the Nucleus-M motor at 14.8V is 2.5N·m. Overall, the Nucleus-M motor is more powerful and faster than the DJI Focus Pro Motor.
