This stainless steel Counter Balance Bar is for use with the ZWO AM5 telescope mount. The mount requires a counterweight when supporting loads of more than 28 pounds. This bar can be used for counterweights with any mount that has an M12 x 1.75 thread.

When specialized astronomy gear retailers run out of some popular items (like this bar) check out B&H. They are more likely to have them. I also bought the main item, the ZWO AM5N, from B&H when it was running low in other places. AND I paid no tax.
