Manfrotto Plexiglass Panel Overview

The Manfrotto 320PX Plexiglass Panel is a white translucent plexiglass that mounts with touch fastener tape, and may be tilted/bent upward and locked into place, to any angle up to 90°, for totally seamless backgrounds. It is designed to fit the Manfrotto 320 shooting table frame, but may be suitable for your own shooting table frame.

Place your lights above, below, or behind this plexiglass for dramatic, or high-key lighting effects.
The plexiglass panel measures 59 x 30" (150 x 76 cm).
Use this size for small size setups.

The price on this manfrotto table is very expensive. The instructions are a single page as a schematic. The directions are horrible and you will be lucky if you don't break the plexiglass. Not a single warning in the instructions that extreme care should be taken with the plexiglass. Now I have to spend money to buy a replacement glass. If you have an opportunity find another avenue to this product as they fall way short on delivery a product with proper information or warnings to fragility of the plexiglass.

This was a replacement as the first was broken during installation. Note: place a board under the plexi until you get rid of the center bowing. Once past that, it is solid. Once installed, it is great.

I'm wondering how thick this sheet is?

The perspex sheet is 3mm (0.118in) thick, very close to 1/8 (0.125in). Perspex is Poly(methyl methacrylate), also known as acrylic or acrylic glass as well as by the trade names Plexiglas, Acrylite, Lucite, and Perspex.

How much weight can be placed on the plexiglass? Need to know how heavy the object being photographed can be...

According to Manfrotto, the Manfrotto Plexiglass Panel Only for Large Still Life Shooting Table - 79 x 49" by itself does not have a listed load capacity. When paired with the Manfrotto Large Still Life Shooting Table with 79 x 49" Plexiglass Panel, B&H # MA220, the combined table and panel would have a load capacity of 33 lbs (15 kg), but that is assuming that the weight is not all concentrated on one spot.

Hi, I purchased this along with the table. The plexi will ship to you flat and can be used and stored flat. Care should be taken to bend it, if used on the Manfrotto table. Be sure the plexi is at room temperature or it could snap.
