Great for traveling!

Slow charger

This charger works and the battery has good (diminished due to smaller size and smaller cell) but good function. Please understand that the charging is very slow and thus you would be using your camera infrequently or switching it off between shots - playback on the display screen or continuous autofocus will deplete the battery quickly and the charger will struggle to recharge in short period of time - think 2+hrs. Haven't tried this on the go with portable battery pack to feed this charger but will this weekend.

How long a battery will power a device depends on many factors. A guess for this battery in the camera is that it should last about 2-4 hours.
