iPad & iPad mini

What is it?

Now in its 6th generation, the iconic iPad retains the fan-favorite 9.7" screen size and form factor. It features the capable Apple A10 processor and is faster than older iPad models. The iPad now supports the Apple Pencil. If the 9.7" screen size is too big for you, Apple also offers the 7.9" iPad mini 4.

Apple 9.7" iPad

Who is it for?

The iPad is for people who want a large screen to stream videos and browse the Web on its Retina Display, but don’t want to lug a laptop around. The price is also budget friendly (at least by Apple standards).

iPad Pro

What is it?

The iPad Pro blurs the lines between laptop and tablet. Currently in its 3rd generation, it features a new Liquid Retina Display, performance upgrades, and some physical changes. The most noticeable change is that there is also no physical Home button. Touch ID has been replaced with Face ID. But don’t worry, there is no notch. The camera has been integrated into the thin bezels for a more uniform look. The 11" model replaces its 10.5" predecessor, while the 12.9" iPad Pro retains its screen size. Say goodbye to the Lightning port and say hello to USB Type-C. Apple has finally embraced USB Type-C, bringing us closer to universal compatibility for accessories and peripherals. Both models house A12X Fusion chips and can have storage up to 1TB. Gigabit-class LTE support is also available for Wi-Fi + LTE models.

Who is it for?

The artist or graphic designer who want to draw directly on the screen; it can also be useful to traveling business professionals who don’t mind using the iOS versions of their productivity apps (i.e., Office, Pages).
